Digital File Requirements for Printed Ads
If you choose to have someone else design and submit files to Lotus Guide you must follow the following guidelines:
ATTENTION: Please note that files submitted to Lotus Guide that do not meet these file requirements will be charged an additional $50/hour design cost.
NOTE: If we design your ad it’s Free and if you want to make changes along the way we can easily do that for you, usually no charge ($10. maximum)

File Types & Fonts
Please submit files as Photoshop PSD or Illustrator EPS files.
Photoshop PSD/PDF, Illustrator EPS files: KEEP LAYERS – DO NOT FLATTEN
Fonts must be either converted to outlines or embedded in the file. Lotus Guide will not be responsible for any missing fonts on your file.
Deadlines (We do have a little wiggle room on our deadlines if you contact us)
Deadlines are for advertisements:
- First TriAnnual: (Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr): December 22nd
- Second TriAnnual: (May/Jun/Jul/Aug): April 22nd
- Third TriAnnual: (Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec): August 22nd
Deadlines for Article Submissions:
- First TriAnnual: (Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr): December 4th

* We have a segment on TV that airs every 3 weeks in 7 Northern CA counties called “Rahasya Uncensored.” Our goal is to reach many more readers for the Lotus Guide and also interview our advertisers. This means that we are the only magazine in the Northern CA area that has a magazine, You Tube Channel, a TV show and radio show called “Spiritual Activist.” We are also the oldest magazine in our area, over 17 years.
Take a few moments and look over what we offer because it’s much more than just the ad in our magazine which is plenty in itself. But we’ve learned over the years to keep our advertisers, which we do, we need to offer them editorial space, access to our Community Email that reaches over 9,000 residents, and more.
