Recently, I tucked myself into bed and picked up Toward 2012 from my bedside stack. I had bought it after a late-night discussion with my son. He was distressed, and although an independence-driven teen, that night Liam needed his mom.

I wrote Spiritual Partnership: The Journey to Authentic Power, to try to get out of my own cage. I wanted, and needed, to connect with people, not just reach them, but really connect for my own well being and hopefully for theirs as well.
Many find themselves in a position in which they no longer trust government organizations for one reason or another and so are drawn to community centers and shelters for help.
