Ridge Physical Therapy

Since 2002 our therapy staff has been providing top-notch, hands-on treatment for people suffering from chronic pain and fibromyalgia, any sort of orthopedic or neurologic problem, as well as incontinence and pelvic pain. Our Ridge community members as well as those folks who are happy to travel from Chico, Durham, Gridley, Yuba City, Oroville, Berry Creek, Willows, and Forest Ranch rave about our staff and the quality treatment they receive from our highly trained therapists. By the way, we no longer need a referral from your doctor to begin treatment so you can enjoy quicker access to the therapy you need to get back to the activities you enjoy.

In December 2014 we came up with the idea of opening a gym within our 7,000-square-foot facility to further enhance our Wellness Center. We chose to offer membership for women only as we had been hearing from our female patients for more than 10 years that many are “intimidated by the big gyms,” “there are no trainers available to help me when I need it,” “I don’t like working out where men can see me,” and so on. In February 2015 our idea became a reality and Ridge Fitness for Women was up and running.

Ridge Physical Therapy-ParadiseThe women of our fitness club are very excited and impressed with our facility. Our trainers are available during all business hours to help our members with the cardio equipment, circuit training, balance activities, and a variety of other strength and conditioning options. They have been trained by physical therapists to ensure all exercises are performed properly to keep our members safe and injury free.

Ridge Fitness for Women is also a member of the Silver Sneakers and Active and Fit programs. If your insurance carrier offers these benefits, it pays your gym membership fees when you work out! What a great benefit and it’s something many people don’t realize they have available to them.

Now that does not mean that we aren’t concerned about the health and wellness of the male population. After they have completed their physical therapy program, they have the opportunity to work out on their own in our Aftercare Program. We have a few women who enjoy this program as there is no membership contract involved and the fee is very reasonable.

So give us a call or stop by and see what’s going on at 5537 Black Olive Dr., Paradise, 530-876-1087.
